New agreement between Codognotto and Vectorys for Transport Between North Africa and Europe

The Codognotto Group and the Vectorys Group have announced the commercial and operational collaboration agreement based on the common desire to jointly develop transport and logistics services between Europe and North Africa by pooling networks, markets, and experience.

The Codognotto group boasts a direct presence in several European countries such as Portugal, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Belarus, Hungary, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia with the opening of Turkey and Lithuania in 2023. The Vectorys group, on the other hand, specializes in flows between Europe and North Africa and is present in Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Malta, Italy, France, and Spain.

The agreement was signed at the Vectorys Tunis office by Nabgha Salem and Fabio Mandirola, respectively president and general manager of the Vectorys group, and Marco Manfredini, general manager of operations of the Codognotto Group.

"With this strategic agreement we want to lay the foundations for a long-term collaboration that will allow the Codognotto Group to add North Africa to the portfolio of services that already serves all of Europe and Turkey" commented Marco Manfredini. Who then added: “We believe that the best way today to develop the geography of our services is through the stipulation of alliances that bring together complementary experiences and markets. For North Africa with Vectorys we have chosen the number one partner”.

In Nabgha Salem's words, “the goal is to consolidate and strengthen our European network to offer our customers a global logistics solution. The reason for this alliance is also guided by a common approach and vision on ecology, sustainability, and the development of intramodality”.

Together, the two groups consolidate a turnover of logistics and transport of approximately 500 million euros.
